1. Noah And The Ark: A Story About Trusting God’s Promises

The story of Noah’s Ark is a classic Bible story that tells when things seem impossible, trust God’s protection and provision. Relying on God’s guidance will help you prepare for the future. Noah’s life story is a reminder that no matter how difficult it may seem if God has called us to do something, he will equip us to get it done.

Noah was a man who lived a righteous life in the middle of a culture that was so ungodly that God detested humanity and wished he had never made humans. He lived in an era of wickedness but maintained his righteousness. He walked with God when everyone else found new ways to sin and grieve God’s heart.

Noah didn’t give in to those around him who scoffed at him and made fun of him. He stayed true to his faith in God. And that faith in God saved him and his family. Noah was obedient and blameless in the eyes of God. His obedience allowed him to develop two fundamental characteristics: faith and patience.

One major lesson we learn from the life of Noah is that God wants us to protect the innocent. If Noah had not obeyed God and built the ark, no one would have survived the flood that God was sending in judgment. Can you imagine a time when no one knew what a flood was, and yet Noah listened to God without questioning him?

Noah’s story also tells us that God always warns people, all people before He acts. The Bible calls Noah a preacher of righteousness so while he spent around 100 years building the ark he also let his contemporaries know what was coming and how they could survive.

The task that God gives to Noah seems impossible but God helped Noah by giving detailed instructions on how to build the ark. Because of his righteousness, faithfulness, and patience, Noah is certainly a man of faith worth emulating.

2. Abraham And Isaac: A Story That’ll Make You Believe In God

The story of Abraham and Isaac is one of the most famous bible stories about trusting God. The life of Abraham is often used by the writers of the Scripture as an example of how we should live as believers. Abraham plays an important part in each of these three religions – Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Judaism considered him the ‘father’ of their religion.

While in Christianity, it is through Abraham’s lineage that the Savior of the world comes. Abraham was a man who believed in God and he proved it from time to time. First, God ordered Abraham to leave his homeland and go to a different place which was far away from his birthplace.

Amazingly, Abram trusted God. He gathered the members of his household, packed up all his belongings, and started walking across the desert. He had no idea where he was going. Finally, he arrived in the land of Canaan, the place chosen by the Lord.

One day God promised Abraham that he would be the father of many people. However, Abraham was 99 years old and his childless wife Sarah was 90. They were apparently past the normal age for having children. Therefore, it would clearly be a miracle of God were they to have any.

Nevertheless, Abraham trusted God and believed God could accomplish what He had promised. After many years, God’s promise finally came to pass and Sarah gave birth to her son Isaac. Abraham and Sarah were very happy with their new son, Isaac.

However, God had another test for Abraham. God told Abraham, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you”

This would have been a tremendous shock to any parent; to be blessed by a long-awaited child, only to have God tell you to sacrifice that child. But Abraham did not hesitate for a moment as he believed God would raise Isaac back to life if the sacrifice actually did take place.

Abraham took his son up to a mountain, laid him down, and prepared to kill him in obedience to God’s command. However, God intervened by stopping Abraham from killing his son. Once again Abraham’s faith had been tested, and proved, by his obedience to God.

3. Life of Joseph: Inspirational Bible Story About God’s Love

The story of Joseph in the Bible is a beautiful example of why should we trust God in difficult times. Joseph starts as an arrogant young man. He was abused by his family, his own brothers sold him to merchants as a slave only for a petty some of money.

He spends much of his life in jail on false charges. But surviving in those terrible situations, Joseph trusted God and knew that his life had a purpose in God’s big plan. Years later, the sight of his brothers brought him to uncontrollable weeping.

He brings all the resources of Egypt to make his family comfortable. He has become a sensitive, family-oriented man. The transformation of Joseph teaches us that God can use our past as the forge from which He crafts a refined character.

We could understand the story as an illustration of how God works in the world. Dreams are a way to communicate with the Divine or a way to communicate with the deepest parts of ourselves. Joseph’s dreams first get him into trouble.

But his ability to understand them leads him to be chosen by the Pharaoh and to save the world. Joseph shows that the worst conditions possible may not be final. We never know when the next step will lead to success.

4. Moses: A Story That Strengthens Your Faith In Hard Times

One of my favorite Bible stories about trusting God is the story of Moses. Moses’s life story shows us that trusting in God’s promises requires patience and perseverance throughout the ups and downs of life. His entire life, from birth to death, is a splendid example of how God cares for his devotees.

When Moses was born, his life was in danger but his mother trusted God. And God saved Moses’ life through a wonderful plan – first by imparting his mother the wisdom to make a basket and throw it into the river and later He sparked love in the heart of the Pharao’s daughter for Moses.

Later, when he was in the desert taking care of sheep, God spoke to him in a burning bush and gave him specific instructions to go talk to Pharoah. When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, he was initially hesitant.

Eventually, though, Moses embraced his calling and trusted God. Throughout the 10 plagues of Egypt, Moses trusted that God would deliver his people from bondage.

When the Israelites were seemingly trapped between the Red Sea and the pursuing Egyptian army, Moses had faith and told them to stand firm and watch God save them.

Amazingly Moses remained focused, loyal, and faithful to God in the entire journey in the wilderness for 40 years. The ways in which God worked through Moses encourage us in our own lives. God equips us for what He calls us to do.

5. Joshua And The Promised Land: Amazing Story for Believers

The story of Joshua is indeed a great story about trusting God. One can learn many lessons from the type of faith Joshua had. After the death of Moses, God calls on Joshua to lead the Israelites across the Jordan River and take possession of the promised land.

God guarantees victory in the military campaign and vows never to leave the Israelites so long as they obey his laws. When Israeli spies returned from exploring the promised land, only Joshua and Caleb trusted God.

They had faith in God’s promise to deliver the land to them while most were doubtful. Joshua’s trust in God’s words eventually led Israelites into the Promised Land, where they could happily enjoy a life full of abundance.

After God gives Israel rest from its enemies for many years, an ailing Joshua makes a farewell pronouncement to the nation of Israel. Joshua goads the Israelites to be strong and to obey all of God’s laws.

6. The Story of Ruth: Unflinching Trust In God’s Blessings

The story of Ruth in the Bible is a tender story of conversion, courage, determination, loyalty, and faithfulness. Ruth was a widow but she trusted in God which led to her becoming an ancestor of King David and Jesus Christ.

The compassion and love shared by Naomi and her daughter-in-law Ruth is indeed praiseworthy. It can inspire those who want to build better relationships with others both inside and outside of their families.

Ruth 1:16 clearly expresses her devotion in these lines – “Don’t try to make me leave you and go back. Where you go I’ll go. Where you stay I’ll stay. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.”

Ruth adored her mother-in-law and had great sympathy for her, witnessing that she lost her husband and both of her sons. Ruth could not endure to part from Naomi or from the God of Israel that she had come to know.

Ruth showed remarkable faith for such a young believer. Faith that there was still a purpose for her ahead. Faith to believe that God was who He said He was. And faith to believe that God would provide for her and Naomi.

This story shows us that we must be willing to endure life’s challenges along the way but remain steadfast in our faith until the very end. It encourages us to view our day-to-day lives as part of God’s bigger plan for our lives and world.

7. David’s Life: Trusting In God Through Difficult Times

King David was a shepherd boy who became Israel’s third and most important king. He slayed the giant, Goliath, and later became a mighty conqueror. The story of David is a great story of trust. Believers and non-believers can see it as an illustration of the need to keep trying and persevere.

Everyone experiences setbacks at some point in their life that look nothing like they had imagined. But David didn’t lose heart. When David went to the battleground, he saw the giant Goliath and volunteered to kill him, even though other soldiers were scared of him.

David did not lose trust in God even when he was being pursued by King Saul to murder him. David’s whole life was about listening to God and then obeying. That’s why he was a man after God’s own heart, someone who would do all God’s will.

In contrast, Saul did his own thing and did not take time to listen to the Lord’s instructions. Even when he did receive them, he did not carry them out fully. This story shows trusting God in difficult situations can lead to a great and memorable life.

10. Story of Shadrach, Meshach, And Abednego In Bible

The story of three Jewish men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is one of the most difficult stories to imagine trusting God through. It serves as inspiration for those who question their faith or who face hardship for their beliefs.

These three men are thrown into a fiery furnace by Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon for refusing to bow to the king’s image. Regardless of the outcome, they were committed to their faith, even when faced with a painful death.

The three are preserved from harm and the king sees four men walking in the flames. Because of their faith, God delivered them from evil.

And in doing so, brought the mighty king of Babylon to recognize his Lordship over heaven and earth. The story of these brave believers tells us that God needs his people to take a stand and speak the truth.
